this is from the ULS Log. Looks like the installer added some lines to the web config as well as the policy but must have missed something.

I got the webparts added by changing the trust level to medium. The bread crumb web part shows up with a value, but the facets do not show anything. Is there something special i need to do?

There is a problem with installing onto web application with Minimal trust level. This will be fixed in the next version 1.2. For now you can work around by setting trust to Medium or Full.

Getting the following error attempting to add these web parts: Unable to add selected webparts(s). Search Bread Crumbs: An error has occured.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

I posted v.1.2 that hopefully fixes installation of the Faceted Search to the web app with minimal trust.
