Search hangs after creating SearchResults page

Jul 8, 2009 at 9:59 PM

I have MOSS 2007 on Win 2008 using SQL 2008.  64 bit.

I install the faceted search and everything seemed to work great until I created my search results page.  Once I add the faceted search web part to the results page, my searches hang indefinately and in the mean time, SharePoint is unresponsive to the rest of my users.  If I take the faceted web part off the page, searches are once again quick.  I have tried turning off caching on the web part and that doesn't make a difference.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nathan

Seems you have an authentication problem connecting to SQL. I don't see any reference in the error pointing to the Faceted Search. Anyways, try the latest build and let me know if anything changes for you.

When I try to test the installation and go to the Web Part Gallery and click on the Faceted Search web part I get an error.  Here is the screen shot:
FAcetedError.bmp

I don't see errors in the event viewer.  Where can I look for additional logs that might tell me what is wrong?

Thanks,

Nathan
