Ok Addendum: I simply removed the extra line from web config and that pretty error went away. I am not sure why but it is not that way in the documentation so I can provide the fix (or warning in the doc). I would recommend a documentation install/setup publish though. I think the extra entry may be added by the system automatically, I am not sure about that one.

Also, once I got past that the regular faceted part worked perfectly, however the Bread Crumb threw an "Object nots et to an...". I have sent a copy of the log for you to see...This one eludes me. I can take a guess but you can probably see what is going on by simply looking at it much quicker than I.

Anyone seen this before at all?

The preview part seems to work, it must be something weird.... Using teh All Sites in the Faceted Search part that feeds the Breadcrumb.

I am having a similar issue seschu01 (bread crumb shows error: object reference not set to instance of an object). Can you tell me how you solved it?

Apr 22, 2010 at 8:04 PM

Hello seschu01,

can you tell us how you solved your issue? We have here the same issue. It would be nice to know...

Regards
Timo
